Insulation and Ventilation Inspection

Per the State Standards of Practice for insulation and ventilation inspections, we visually inspect ventilation of attics and foundations, clothes dryer exhaust systems, insulation and vaper retarders in unfinished spaces, and exhaust systems in kitchen, bathroom and laundry areas.  In our report, we describe the insulation and vapor retarders and/or the absence of insulation in unfinished spaces.  We are not required to disturb or move insulation, or inspect insulation that is expected to be found behind walls, ceilings or flooring or other finished surfaces.
